It's a........... BOY!!!!!

For those of you who haven't heard... it's a BOY! Here are my sonogram pictures... Enjoy. I picked the ones that were the easiest to see. We decided on the name: Asher Justus. Asher means "happy" or "happy am I" and is another of the sons of Jacob. So we had to stick with our original idea. :-) We chose Justus because originally we were going to do Justice until we found that there was a man in the book of Acts named Justus (same meaning). So we are super excited. The due date is March 30th, but you never know with that. So far everything has been going really well, my only complaint is heartburn. At least this time I know what I'm in for... haha. That's about all I have time for today... I'll write more later.

A Casino!?!?!? Jacob and Sarah stayed at a Casino!?!?

Yup we did! :-) Jacob had a flooring convention to go to this past tuesday and he sold enough flooring over the past year to pay for us to have a room monday night! So we stayed at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino. It was amazing! The architecture was amazing. We got all dressed up and went out to eat at the Michael Jordan Steakhouse. That was fun, expensive, but fun. The best part was that Judah stayed with Grandpa and Grandma, so Jacob and I had a night to ourselves. We even ordered a pay-per-view: The Fantastic Four, but since I was so tired I ended up falling asleep 30 mins. into the movie only to wake up at the end! I guess that's how it is when you're kid-free, you just want to sleep! *LOL* In case you're wondering, yes we did gamble, a whopping 50 cents! We tried a 25 cent slot machine twice, oohhh such a risk taker! We did enjoy ourselves, so I put up a few pics of us at Mohegan Sun. The last picture is my dad and I at the Fall Festival that our church had. It was really windy and cold, and my dad signed up for the dunk tank! He was the only one in a wet suit! Smart guy! Oh and no that's not his real hair. :-) Enjoy!

October Already!!!

Where do I even start? It has been wonderful living in our own place! It's been such a blessing. We've been able to have people over from far and near. We just had Rachel over this past weekend. That was fun! We took her out on the Jetskiis. I guess I should start with september... we took a trip out to southern California to visit Jacob's family, especially his Aunt Marie. It was a great visit, my first time in CA since I was a baby. I was able to meet family that weren't able to come to our wedding. It was great! We got to go to the beach one day, but mostly spent much needed time with family. Everyone loved seeing Judah of course and was excited to hear about baby number 2! We're not sure what it is yet, but we're going to try and find out on the 21st of this month! I'll let you know, when we know. Other than that, life is pretty day to day. Not too interesting. The baby is the most interesting thing right now. We're looking forward to Thanksgiving and entertaining in our new place. Give us a call to chat sometime for more recent news!

I liked how the sunshine was just on their faces in this shot. Posted by Picasa
