If you see this in your driveway... it's us!

We decided to upgrade our vehicle, since my mom is taking over the Hyundai. We were looking at VW Jettas (not the new models, but like the '96-'98's) which I really liked. Plus they get really great gas mileage. Well that's all well and good until you test drive them and find that your husband's head rubs the ceiling! Eric and Rebecca I'm sure you guys can understand this problem! So Jacob suggested a Jeep. I wasn't so sure about the whole idea until we moved Judah's car seat into one to test drive. Once I realized that I didn't have to bend over and climb in after him to buckle him, but could rather stand next to the vehicle to strap him in, I was all for it. Not to mention the fact that we do plan on having another child, and if you've ever been pregnant, you know that big belly + extra weight + car low to ground = disaster, i.e. aim your rear and fall. If you've never (or will never if you're a guy) experienced this, you can just laugh, it's ok.

So we did some research online to find a good quality Jeep, with low mileage, and one owner. Guess what?!?! We found one! Not only that, it was only 25 minutes away in New Bedford! It is a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4, with only 73K! So that was a big blessing. I thought I'd include a few pics for all you curious people.

P.S. The random pictures of my family are for Sarah M. who hasn't seen them in years (keep in mind they are a few months old, so Judah looks a lot different now). Sorry about not having a shot of my dad, I'll see what I can do for you!

Can you believe it!?!

It's official... Judah is no longer the toothless cutie. What a sad day. But.... I think he looks great with teeth! Check his mug shot, which was a lot easier to take than I thought it would be. Caleb took the picture for me, and I held his lip so we could see those brand new teeth. He got the first one (your lower left) on the 29th of January and the second one (your lower right) on the 31st of January. We are all excited (especially me, since I am no longer nursing) about his teeth. He is currently working on his two upper teeth. We can see the bumps in his gums. I know this must sound weird for all of you who don't have kids yet, us going on an on about Judah's mouth, but I hope I'm not boring you. :-) You'll understand someday.

In other news we're still looking at land in North Carolina. We're hoping to go down there and check it out the weekend of teh the 26th with my parents. We're looking in the New Bern/River Bend area if you want to see where we might be in a few years. Other than that we're still praying about our options here.

Sorry this is so short, but hey, it's got a great picture.

Teeth! I can't believe we got this shot! Posted by Hello
